Beschreibung

Hi there! We are a family of three who decided to change our rhythm by quitting our job so we can spend more time together. We used to live in Amsterdam until our son Kyan was born last year. Because of our work and our decision to not make use of any childcare, we noticed we didn't really have time together. We felt that we wanted to see our little one grow, to notice the daily changes and to be able to give him our full attention. Also we love spending time in nature and we'd like our son to play in the sand and set his first steps with his feet in the grass, instead of being indoors. So instead of following the beaten path and buying a house, we decided to buy a camper van and travel through Europe as a discovery of what we'd like to do and where we'd like to be. It's scary to leave everything behind and sometimes hard to deal with the insecurities, but we do believe that this decision will create space for a new fresh wind in our lives. We love being outdoors, we are interested in permaculture, organic farming and sustainable living and we both are eager to learn. We'd like to stay in a place where Kyan will feel welcome as well, so he has the space to express his curiosity and will feel safe to play and explore.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We both used to work in hospitality, though Marjon also had a career in the television industry. Nowadays the key is that we love healthy, organic food and making our food print as little as possible. Eke is trained as a chef and likes cooking delicious veggie meals, though he also likes to work with his hands being able to create things. Marjon is also trained as a yoga teacher. Her biggest passion currently is to help pregnant woman in their process.
