We are two friends from Denmark on a gap year seeking farm stays to learn, meet people and work outdoors. We are motivated, curious and quick learners. and eager to help where we can!

Beschreibung

Hello! We're Camilla and Magnus, both born and raised in Denmark. We are both on a gap year before going to university, and are looking to learn new skills and have a great experience. We both care for the enviroment, and love being out in nature. We're both openminded and hardworking, so we will do our very best with anything that is expected of us.
Camilla loves hiking and camping out in nature, reading, art and travelling.
Magnus loves hiking, cooking, music, travelling and art.
We’re excited about experiencing different ways of living, being part of new communities, and helping out with projects big or small. We would love the opportunity to contribute to your place while learning from you at the same time.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Languages:
We're both practically fluent in english and can speak with no problems. We also both know very basic german, but can't keep up a conversation. Camilla also knows a bit of turkish and spanish.
Cooking:
We both like cooking and baking. We have no professional experience, but have both cooked and baked at home, and are excited to experience a different cuisine and hopefully help out in the kitchen. Camilla has worked in a kitchen and is especially good at baking!
Cleaning:
We do of course clean up around our homes, but have also both had cleaning duties at jobs through the years, so we are more than capable of helping out with cleaning.
Basic construction:
Magnus had a course in his third year of high school where he was taught the foundations of construction. He is by no means an expert, but knows how to construct a basic wooden structure.
Taking care of animals:
We both have pets at home, and have taken care of others peoples pets while they were away on trips. Magnus has helped his stepmother with upkeep of her horse. We love animals and are ready to learn the needs of other animals such as cows, pigs, goats, sheep etc.
Creative skills:
Camilla loves painting, drawing and being creative in general. She often makes DIY gifts for her loved ones. Magnus likes woodcarving with a knife.
