You can call me Maddy

I like dancing, swimming, reading, hiking - everything that is happening outside and close to nature. But I'm also excited for cultural events and a deep exchange with new people and my newest interest would be in building, especially wood work and clay and pottery.

My first trip alone was to Iceland, where I developed my enthusiasm for travelling solo, while working and staying in communities with other travelers and especially locals. I am a yoga teacher and spent some time in an ashram in the north of Portugal. I feel very bonded to nature and always happy if the places where I am staying are near by the forrest or the ocean !

I have often worked in projects with children, at schools, but also made some Experience in a hostel, I worked in a DIY renovation project in France, building tiny houses in Portugal! I like to get involved with ideas but am also able to blend in, do the tasks that need to be done. In my workdays but also in my living at home (which is mostly in Dortmund) I discovered community as one of my biggest values. Im really interested in communal living and building a community life.

I love to cook and bake for groups and share the table. I think it's one of my favorite things to do.

Last year I finished my Master in Special Needs Education, German, anthropology of textile materials in Dortmund, Germany. I am now teaching at University also

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am passionate about cooking and baking, been working in a hostel, on a DIY Project I like to sew, get creative and craft. I have no professional manual skills, but I can work physically and enjoy learning new skills. I’ve been working with kids, with groups of kids and in teams ever since, so I know group dynamics and how to keep them up, I love to chat and exchange and I am always excited to learn about new cultures and languages

Was noch ...

I like to be active. I love any kind of team sports, group activities, running, swimming, hiking. I think mostly swimming and being in and near water!

I like to exchange books, get to know people honestly. I like board games (code names, werewolf, the mind - to name some of my favourites)
