Hi! We’re Enguerrand & Loréline 🇳🇿

We're a French couple from Lyon, and we're about to embark on an incredible one-year adventure across New Zealand. Our goal isn't just to travel—it's to truly experience the country, meet local people, discover new ways of living, and create meaningful connections along the way.

We're both energetic, positive, and easy-going people who genuinely enjoy meeting others. For us, Workaway is much more than exchanging work for accommodation. It's an opportunity to share everyday life with locals, learn new skills, help where we're needed, and create unforgettable memories together.

Nature is where we feel happiest. We love hiking, spending time outdoors, discovering beautiful landscapes, and living simply. After living in the city of Lyon, we're excited to reconnect with nature and experience New Zealand's incredible environment through van life, volunteering, and working.

As a couple, we're very close, but we're also independent and adaptable. We enjoy working together, staying active, and bringing positive energy wherever we go. We love spending time with people, organizing friendly moments, sharing meals, and making others feel comfortable. Anguéran especially enjoys cooking and would be delighted to prepare a few French meals for everyone!

We're happy to help with many different tasks, including:

Gardening and outdoor maintenance
Looking after animals
Childcare
House cleaning and general household tasks
Farm work and discovering permaculture
Helping with any daily projects where an extra pair of hands is useful

We already have experience with animals, children, and gardening/outdoor work, and we're always excited to learn new practical skills. We're not afraid of physical work and enjoy staying busy.

Our plan is to spend part of our year volunteering before working in the hospitality industry while continuing to explore New Zealand. We see every Workaway experience as a chance to learn, grow, and build genuine relationships with the people we meet.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We're both physically fit and enjoy hands-on work. We're not afraid of getting our hands dirty, lifting heavy objects, or spending a full day working outdoors.

Gardening & Outdoor Work
We enjoy gardening, maintaining outdoor spaces, and learning new practical skills. Loreline especially loves taking care of plants and has a real interest in helping gardens thrive.

Animal Care
We both enjoy being around animals and already have experience looking after them. Whether it's feeding, cleaning, walking, or simply giving them attention, we're always happy to help.

Childcare
We're responsible, patient, and comfortable spending time with children. We enjoy playing, helping with daily routines, and creating a positive environment.

Cooking
We love cooking, especially homemade meals. Anguéran enjoys preparing dishes and would be happy to share some French recipes with you.

Household Help
We're happy to help with cleaning, organizing, painting, basic DIY tasks, and keeping the house tidy. We like working efficiently and paying attention to details.

Quick Learners
We're curious, adaptable, and always willing to learn. Even if we haven't done a specific task before, we're motivated to learn quickly and aren't afraid to ask questions.

Driving
We both have a full driving licence and are comfortable driving when needed.
