Hi! I'm Loana, 23 years old and from Switzerland. I'm a very open minded, cheerful and reliable person. I'm in British Columbia, Canada since July 2023 and I'm staying in Canada until July 2024. I really enjoy beeing around animals and people. Working with animals is one of my passions, but I also really like spending time with people and children. I love the outdoors, and would like to learn more about gardening. Art projects are also something that really interests me. But especially I want to meet new people, learn about their culture, travel and see the beautiful landscape.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I grew up on a small farm in the "Emmental" in Switzerland. So I have some experience of farming especially with the animals. Since I was 6 years old I've been regularly horseback riding on the riding arena and on trails in the open country. After the obligatory schooltime I spent a year in the french speaking part of Switzerland. There I worked as an Au-Pair and learnt french. I was responsible for the two children (2 and 5 years old) and for the meal preparations. Before I started my apprenticeship I spent 4 months in England to learn English. I spent one month in a language school in Portsmouth and then I stayed 3 months with a family which owned a big farm, two camping sites, a Pub with a big surrounding and two tipis to host weddings and music festivals. There I was like the "girl for everything". I helped on the farm and with maintaining the camping sites, in the Pub I worked in the kitchen, the service and behind the bar, and for the weddings and festivals I helped with the preparations and cleaning up, and also with the serving of food and drinks. In summer 2023 I finished my apprenticeship as scenic painter in the theatre of Bern. During the 4 years of apprenticeship I learned a lot of different painting techniques and could develop my creativity.

In my spare time I also enjoy music (playing and listening), cooking and baking, hiking and camping, cuddling with our cats and hang out with my family and friends.
