Beschreibung

I am a 31 year old American who loves to surf, travel, and meet new people. I have spent a year living in Sri Lanka working at a villa spearheading events which brought in over 200 people. I also took over their social media and helped in their bar and restaurant. After this job I worked for a hostel on the south coast managing its two locations. I also helped in the restaurant, surf shop, and café. The year before that I traveled to Australia. I spent 3 months in Jaco Costa Rica volunteering at a hostel from Nov-Feb 2019. After that I traveled to Panama and did a 1 month Workaway at another hostel and ATV rental company. I then spent a year nannying in Florida. I also volunteered at a surf shop in Sayulita, Mexico for a month November 2020 and then spent 4 months volunteering at a boutique hotel in El Paredon, Guatemala. I worked the last 5 years managing a hotel on Block Island, Rhode Island. I managed their inn and resorts Front Desk & set up their Concierge. I hired new staff, trained and on-boarded managers, and created SOPs for each department. I also managed their social media, Air Bnb Account, kept the daily event board updated, and found new ways to make the inn all-inclusive. I also worked at a surf shop and helped teach surf lessons. I adapt quickly to a new situation, am easy going, and enjoy a slower and more minimalistic lifestyle. I love the beach, dogs, yoga, good friends, and new experiences.

I have experience in resort and restaurant management, seven years as a nanny, waitressing, bartending, working in retail, teaching surf lessons, and event planning. I know basic Spanish, spent two years as a deep-water lifeguard, and starts up my own clothing line.
I enjoy moving to a new place and immersing myself in the country's culture. I am looking forward to improving my Spanish, trying local food, and exploring the area.
I write freelance for travel blogs and a surf camp. I also have my own blog. I have managed a villa's social media and focused on growing their following. I am very innovative and enjoy taking on new tasks.
I have worked in reception at a top-rated hostel in Jaco Costa Rica and another hostel in Panama.
