Hello, I’m Krisztina. I’m originally from Hungary and currently live in the beautiful countryside of Kent, England.

I have always been fascinated by people, places and the stories we carry. I’m the author of Dreamers & Seekers, a published self-discovery book inspired by real human stories, and I’m currently writing my first novel. Books, writing and creativity have become a very important part of my life.

I’m naturally curious and love exploring new experiences. Over the years, I’ve tried everything from circus arts and fencing to riding a motorbike, which I started recently. I’m also learning Tai Chi and have completed Jikiden Reiki Level 1 (Shoden). I would be happy to share Reiki within the scope of my training, and I hope to continue towards animal and equine Reiki in the future, as I feel especially drawn to horses.

I can feel that I’m entering a period of change in my life, and I’m especially drawn to work that brings me closer to nature, animals and a genuine sense of community.

I have a varied professional background, which has made me adaptable and comfortable taking responsibility. My experience includes event organisation, hospitality, administration, property and shop management, marketing, social media, and working directly with guests and the public.

I have also been the creator and organiser of women’s self-discovery workshops. I developed the ideas and themes with my partner, planned the activities, promoted the events and created supporting materials. I enjoy bringing people together and helping to create spaces where they feel welcome, comfortable and able to connect.

I have managed Airbnb properties, including a treehouse, so I understand the everyday care, organisation and attention that go into creating a memorable guest experience. I can also help with social media content, promotional materials, simple Canva designs, event ideas and community projects.

I’m open to a variety of roles, including hospitality, guest support, housekeeping, property care and helping with the everyday running of a home or accommodation.

At the same time, I enjoy practical work. I’m happy gardening, painting, helping with simple DIY, cleaning, organising spaces or getting muddy outdoors. I love animals and would especially like to gain more hands-on experience with horses and animal care. I’m not going to pretend that I’m an experienced horsewoman or farmer — unfortunately, I’m not — but I’m willing to learn, follow instructions and get involved with the everyday practical tasks that need doing.

Connection is very important to me. Wherever I stay, I would love to become part of the place’s natural rhythm: to discover its character, breathe in its atmosphere and the surrounding landscape, contribute reliably to its everyday life, and form a genuine connection with the environment and the people who care for it.

I’m reliable and proactive, and I tend to be the person who notices when something needs doing and gets on with it. I would particularly love to contribute somewhere where people, animals, nature, creativity or community come together.

I’m currently looking for a nature-connected place where I can stay for one or two months (maybe more), be genuinely useful and experience a different way of living. For a longer placement, I’m particularly interested in an arrangement that includes accommodation and some paid hours, as I’m looking for a financially sustainable way to make this transition. I have my own car, so rural locations within the UK are also possible for me.
