Hello, welcome!
We are Katie and Trevor.

We are currently in Nagano, Japan. We have our Japan Working Holiday Visas which are valid until the end of August 2026.

We have been traveling around Japan for the last 5 months, from Yamaguchi, to Hiroshima, Osaka, and Nagano where we are currently. We are just coming to the end of a season working at a lovely hostel in Hakuba where we have spent most of our free time snowboarding in the beautiful mountains.

Together we enjoy attending concerts, traveling, culture, horror and comedy movies, nature, hiking, outdoor activities, water sports. We also love rock, metal and electronic music. Trevor is a big Nintendo fan, horror movie and graphic novel reviewer, gamer and is obsessed with Pokemon. Katie is interested in wellness, yoga, art and crafts, spirituality, animals and nature.
We also have a combined travel social media account which is captured through the eyes of our two mascots of a frog and turtle.

Although we are new to Workaway, we are not new to traveling. We have plenty of reviews on Airbnb which you can look at to get a feel for hosting us. We will provide a link to this in our application.

Katie is currently working 5 hours a week online but this is flexible.

Please note, we have tattoos but we can easily cover these under clothes if preferable.
We also have a few facial piercings.
