Hi There!

I'm a primary school teacher working in Tipperary Ireland. I love everything outdoorsy, I grew up on a dairy farm so I appreciate nature, love animals and eating healthy. I grow some vegetables at home in my own garden - celery, potatoes, celeriac, carrots, brussel sprouts, parsnips and more.
Off grid living/self sufficiency/homesteading really resonates with me as I can be really close to the natural world free from distractions and temptations.
I am interested in learning more about vegetable growing in the Mediterranean climate. Rearing animals, fermentation and mushroom growing is something I intend to build on aswell, although I know these are very particular areas and not everyone may resonate with that.
I did an organic gardening course and a permaculture 1 day course in 2024/2025
Hobbies: gardening,cooking, hiking.
I have a degree in Food Science from UCD Ireland and have worked in industry for 3 years.

I have done one workaway before but would love another learning adventure and experience!
I dont smoke and eat everything! love everything from roast beef to raw vegan hummus :)
