Hi! I'm Kacper, an engineer from Poland with a deep love for nature, animals and the ocean.

By profession I'm a mechanical engineer and I run my own consulting business remotely, which means I'm flexible, self-sufficient, and only need a bit of reliable wifi to keep things running in the early mornings or evenings - leaving me plenty of time and energy to genuinely help out during the day.

But the part of me that really comes alive is outdoors and around animals. I've volunteered at a seal rehabilitation centre in Hel, Poland, spent seasons at ornithological monitoring camps, and helped out at a marine turtle conservation centre in the Maldives. I've been quietly preparing for years to do polar and marine field work, so hands-on conservation, animal care and time in wild places is where I feel most at home. I'm a certified boat driver, I hold drone licences, and I have first-aid training - so I'm happy to get stuck into practical tasks, whether that's caring for animals, fixing and building things, documenting with photos and drone footage, or just doing whatever needs doing.

What makes me happy is simple: being useful, learning how people live in different corners of the world, sharing a good meal and honest conversation, and spending time with animals and in nature. I'm easy-going, hardworking, and I show up with a good attitude. I'd love to be part of your project for a while and give back properly for the welcome.

Practical & hands-on
I'm a mechanical engineer, so I'm confident with tools and building or fixing things. Years in scouting gave me solid DIY and outdoor skills - I'm comfortable with construction and repair jobs, gardening, painting, and general maintenance around a house or project. I like solving practical problems and I'm not afraid of hard, physical work.

Animal care & conservation
Hands-on experience caring for animals: seal rehabilitation (Hel, Poland), ornithological monitoring camps, and a marine turtle conservation centre in the Maldives. Comfortable with feeding, cleaning, handling and daily care.

Photography & media
I bring my own camera and enjoy photography - happy to help document your project, animals, or property, and to create photo and drone content for social media or promotion. I hold drone licences (EASA A1/A3, A2, STS-01) and can capture aerial footage where it's allowed.

Water & outdoors
PADI Open Water Diver, certified motorboat driver, SRC maritime radio certificate, first-aid trained. Comfortable and safe around water, boats and diving.

Driving
Car and scooter/motorcycle licence - happy to drive, run errands, or get around independently on a scooter.

Tech & admin
I run my own business, so I'm reliable with computers, organisation, writing, and general admin. Happy to help with websites, spreadsheets, documentation, marketing text, or setting up simple digital tools to make things run more smoothly. Big fan of ISO 9001 production standard, but I'm not sure if you'll need this level of documantation :D

Languages
Fluent Polish and English, learning Spanish.

Was noch ...

Outside of work and volunteering, I love reading - mostly fantasy - and I'm always happy to get lost in a good film or series in the evening (recommendations very welcome!).

One thing that surprises people: I do Polish folk dance, so I can bring a bit of my culture to share, and I always enjoy learning about local traditions, music and food in return.

I'm curious about the world - I follow geopolitics and technology, I'm learning Spanish (slowly!), and I love being outdoors, near the ocean, and around animals. I'm easy company, up for a good conversation, a shared meal, or just helping out wherever I can.
