Beschreibung

Update Aug 2024:
Currently in Queensland, Australia working at a cafe and will be leaving Australia at the end of November. Next step either parts if SE Asia or country backpacking through the United States, California - New York then flying to Greenland in Sep 2025.

Update June 2024:
I have been living in Australia since November 2023 working and living in my van and taking trips to Asia when i can to explore and learn. My visa for Australia ends this year 2024 in November and plan on heading to Greece in November and then Italy for the holidays.

Hi

My name is Kalyn 27 year old solo traveler and my absolute passion in life is to live as authentic and honestly as i can and to learn, experience and embrace different cultures, people, communities along the way. We are all limited on the number of days we have on this little rock and i want to embrace every second of it.

Anthropology, archaeology, the humanities, philosophy and art are huge inspirations that motivate me in my everyday life. Im a very active individual who hikes, backpacks, solo camping, and solo traveling as well. Im a huge advocate in encouraging women to travel on their own and what type of life changing journeys in doing so can really transform your life.

I am a photographer, both travel and portrait. This is something that i really value. Philosophy is also something that i highly value and am constantly thinking and am mindful of their perspectives and opinions.

I love gardening and being outdoors. For as long as i can remember my hands have been in the dirt. I would love to support any other gardens i may fall upon on my travels!

Ultimately i value connection and the bonds between people that we make and that shape your journeys in this life. To learn about the cultures of this world, the people who inhabit it, the traditions people hold -- this is my goal. To see, document and experience humanity.

My goal is to experience the worlds culture and i have an amazing opportunity and privilege to do so.

I want to know more of this human experience and what i seek as i learn more about it. To grow and learn and connect along the way. How i see it is that every living thing we come across is the universe learning about itself within itself which mean both you and me, the dog and cat, the people on the streets, the homeless man on the corner, the child crying, the tree next to the freeway - these things are all connected. I want to live my truth as best i can. To work for what i eat and to know the true gratitude you have of the planet and land that surrounds you.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Skills!? Im sure i have those...

- Gardening or outdoor work - I have had many of my own gardens that both grew ordinary plants and also fruits and vegetables so i know how to mend to those types of things.

- Cleaning - As someone who has worked about every service industry profession i am very familiar with cleaning and how to do it properly without direction.

Technology - I have direct experience with software and hardware technology which rang from any aspects.

- Helping out with kids - for a long period of time i was nannying and babysitting little kids between the ages of 3-14. Im really good with kids and have good patience.

- Honestly anything and everything - im fairly diverse in the things that im captiable of and im willing to learn if someone is willing to teach!

I am always willing and happy to learn new skills. Life is about experiencing it, learning and finding your own way around it in that we must challenge our selves in ways we may not expect. Within this process we will gain more than what we may have been expecting.

I have an associates degree in Art and Humanities; if that matters, although i am a firm believer that life teaches the greatest lessons.

I do photography as a medium to documenting my human experience through my own view finder. I also enjoy wiring and do some free lance writing here and there.

I am an artist myself and focus in the mediums of acrylic and pastel but dabble in just about everything. Photography is very important to me and is, i would say, my life passion.
