Now, my purpose in life is to learn how to live in a sustainable way and, quoting Satish Kumar: "with elegant simplicity".

Beschreibung

My name is Karim, italian - despite the name, mixed-race parents - based in Barcelona at the moment. During covid-19 pandemic I decided to get away from "business as usual" as I realized that the actual way of life is not ecologically sustainable and socially just. I tried to create my own business, but unfortunately it did not work out as expected.

Did bullshit jobs almost all my life, mostly in sales and marketing, to earn a salary and a so called "good life"... now making a pivot in my life, hoping life will offer me a new beginning in a future ecological civilization (if we survive to the collapse of the actual one).

Between my 20s and 40s, I backpacked through almost all Central and South America and in some countries in Asia. I also visited all Europe. I lived in Brazil, Venezuela and Costa Rica, where I voluntereed in a few projects related to reforestation and community development.

Last thing last, I don't use any social media but LinkedIn, and proud of it!
