Beschreibung

John and I are curious, dynamic, and active people who love being in nature. John is incredibly handy and can do just about anything—from home renovations and car repairs to creating amazing meals in the kitchen. He works as an auto body collision repair technician and takes great pride in his craft.
He has a deep passion for plants and their healing properties and is always eager to learn more. Hunting, fishing, and quiet evenings around a campfire are his true haven.
By nature, John is more of a one-on-one person—thoughtful and quieter in group settings. Above all, he is deeply devoted to his family, who always come first in his priorities.As for me, I am a recently retired nurse with experience in several areas, including the ER, obstetrics, and the cardiac operating room. I am the extrovert in our relationship—I love people, connect easily, and truly enjoy helping others.
Spending the last ten years in the cardiac OR made me deeply aware of how concerned people are about their heart health, especially because heart disease is often a silent killer. That awareness inspired me to share what I’ve learned throughout my nursing career and to help educate others on heart health and prevention.
I now create educational content on TikTok under the name PulseRN, and I also share these videos on Instagram for those who aren’t on TikTok. This journey has opened up a whole new and exciting avenue for me. One of the most rewarding parts is receiving messages from followers saying I’ve helped give them “an extra ten years”—those words mean everything to me.
John and I are Christians. We don’t identify with religion as a system, but we read the Bible and believe in God. We genuinely enjoy life together, respect being our highest shared value.
We are now looking forward to new adventures through the Workaway experience—meeting new people, discovering new cultures, and embracing fresh experiences together.

John is very creative, in pretty much everything...even when it comes to fixing things and something comes up. He has the patience of two!. He is a perfectionist ...and when he is done, everyone is happy with his work.
I love cooking and baking and trying out new recipes.
I also do photography.
I play the guitar...and the accordion
