Beschreibung

Tobi (27) is an adventurer. Exploring knew landscapes, learning about other cultures and languages or working on his gardening skills, he's excited for all of it. As a gardener by trade he loves being outside with his hands in the ground or building. His previous Woofing experiences have taught him a lot about open and clear communication, something we also value in our two & four-legged relationships. We already worked together on some electrical issues and he always proved to be a smart and curious learner.
Jamie (22), Electrician, soaks up knowledge wherever they can. Where I want to explore, they want to study the little bits and make sure to remember everything. Their love for nature shows not only through interest in plants but also through their great way with animals. From working with horses to volunteering in a romanian dog shelter, they got experience and confidence. Being an intelligent, empathetic and thoughtful person makes them a great conversation partner.

Right now Jamie speaks some French basics and Tobi only English, we both also speak German. We want to expand our language pool.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

So to talk about the “Basics”, I (Jamie) have successfully finished my apprenticeship to become an electrician.
Tobi is a Gardener by Trade and therefore has experience in various outdoor building projects as well as with plants.

Both of us speak German (native language) and English (fluent). We have some very Basic Italian and French knowledge.

I have already worked as a volunteer in a Romanian dog-shelter for three months so I am experienced with working with dogs as well as meeting new people there and finding my place. My tasks were cleaning and tidying the kennels, feeding the dogs, working on their fears and problems, walking them etc…

Working with horses was a part of my life since I was a child. I have vaulted several years (that’s basically gymnastics on a horse) and rode horses since my 5th birthday with a few breaks. I’m used to the hard work in a stable like mucking out, giving water, feeding and exercising the horses etc.

I have also trained kids in vaulting for almost 6 years. This experience gave me the abilities to understand and work with kids, teach them skills as well as giving them rules and boundaries and sticking to those commitments.
To correctly do so, I took training courses to educate myself how to train kids.
Tobi has previously worked with children in church as well.

Both of us are experienced Wwoofers and Workawayers with over 3 months of volunteer-stays in Italy and France. There we gained knowledge about animal welfare, how to integrate in new communities and make use of our resources.
