🌍✨ I arrived in Canada in Aug 2024 on a working holiday visa and I’m currently travelling around West coast Canada. I’m looking for people who are up for hiking and exploring the stunning BC!

Hi there! I’m from Scotland and love being outdoors. I’m always up for hiking, kayaking, or any adventure that involves nature and great views. I’d love to meet new people, share stories, and explore some beautiful spots. I am keen to have trips around BC (or further) as I want to see as much of this part of the world while I am over here. I have travelled a lot (solo and with friends) and I am excited to explore this beautiful country while travelling on my 2 year work holiday visa 😊

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I’ve always loved working with people, which has taken me down lots of different paths — from volunteering with charities supporting adults with additional needs, to teaching first aid in Tanzania, to spending seven years as a primary school teacher in the UK with children aged 3–11.

I recently spent a year on Workaway living with a family on Bowen Island and helping with their two little girls. It was such a special experience that really showed me how much I enjoy being part of family life, helping out wherever I’m needed, and taking on responsibilities with care and consistency.

Alongside teaching, I’ve also spent over five years in hospitality, including management roles, where I loved being part of a team and making sure things ran smoothly. More recently, I’ve been house-sitting and caring for pets and homes, always receiving positive feedback and repeat invites.

I’m organised, easy to get along with, and love finding a balance between working hard and exploring new places. I get excited by new challenges — whether that’s running long distances (RVM Oct 2025 here I come!), or throwing myself into new activities like surfing. Solo travel has shown me how much I enjoy connecting with people and being part of a community wherever I go.

Was noch ...

I love being creative and want to bring more of that into my life. I enjoy painting and dancing around the house, but I'd love even more opportunities to be creative. I'm also eager to try fun challenging activities like rock climbing and skiing.

Yoga is a daily passion for me when possible, as it’s both relaxing and strength-building. I love a games night with friends—anything that brings laughter and fun is great. I appreciate having space for myself and nature to explore.

I'm a big foodie; good food often guides my travel plans. I also love the idea of learning new skills and developing passions for things I haven't tried before.
