Hello! I’m Isabella, 24 years old, and currently completing a Masters in Sustainable Architecture and Landscape Design in Milan. It’s been 2 years since I moved to Italy, previously I spent 4 years living in Singapore, and before that I was living in China for 13 years!
Living in 3 very diverse countries has exposed me to a range of cultures and has shaped the person I am today, always eager to expose myself to new traditions, perspectives, and in my free time I love experimenting and cooking recipes from many different countries!
My passion lies in sustainable architecture, instead of building new structures, I believe in repurposing and adapting old farmhouses or abandoned buildings and giving them a new purpose!I love getting my hands dirty, from gardening to wood-working, to architectural renovations, and experimenting with innovative construction materials, I built a canopy entirely out of bamboo!
For me happiness is being able to turn my creative thoughts into tangible designs, that can be used and appreciated by everyone. My lifelong dream is to have my own agritourism business!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

With my Masters degree in Sustainable Architecture and Landscape Design, I love helping with architectural site analysis, material selection, sustainable designs, renovations, and also implementing green and sustainable technologies!
I also have experience in hands-on construction -a unique one is building an entire canopy out of harvested bamboo!
I also love to cook and bake, and am used to preparing and hosting food gatherings at my house, using fresh ingredients from the garden.
I am also a photographer, and have taken photos for several events, including Milan Design Week 2024 with published photos in magazines and websites.

Was noch ...

I love immersing myself in nature, swimming in lakes, long hikes in the mountains, picnics in valleys, searching for forest berries or nuts, sketching landscapes, writing poems, and playing instruments, piano and guitar (which I would be glad to teach also!)
I love board games and luckily I’m not a very competitive person (until you throw me a +4 in UNO). I also love jazz, bossa nova, and any music that has a good rhythm and beat to dance too, as I used to do ballet and contemporary dance!
