Hey,
My name is Helena! I am 18 years old and I just completed my A Levels (or Matura - like we call it in Asutria) and I am a little indeciseve when it comes to my future profession so I decided to take a break. I am ready for thatvgap year so Lamy people are Talking and I wanna make the best out of it by travelling through Europe ( for a strat).

I am an open minded - an adjective that most definitely describes all work seaters on this platform- girl from a small city in Austria. I strongly believe that travelling is the best teacher outside of the classroom and that taking this gap year for getting to know some places and people, making new experiences and just expolring other countries and cultures is just what I need to come clear with myself and dare to do what I really want for my future!
Consider me a young girl looking forward to connecting, networking, travelling and expolring - I am always happy helping with children (I worked in my old kindergarden and am also babysitting my neighbours kids), gardening, on a farm, in a shop or wherever help is needed! I'm mowing the lawn, trimming the hedge, planting and harvesting vegetables but I also clean, mop the floor, do the laundry... I also love cooking and baking even though not every free style dish created by me myself and I results in an explosion of taste ;)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

sooo I am eager to learn new skills wheter it is working on a ranch, farm, a hostel, a cafe, or around the hous...
I can cook, clean, we have a huge garden at home (living only from fruits and vegs we are harvesting in the summer moths) so I would say I am not a 100% newbie in that regards. Further, I am a babysitter and have worked at a kindergarden, I have some knowledge about nature as I just did my "hunting exam" ( I really don´t know how to translate it but I am basically allowed to go gunting), I have a drivers license, we always did a lot of do it yourselfes at home as my dad is a very skilled handyman,... those are things I can think of right now

On top of that I may be able to teach some German as it is my mother tongue and I have some experience in learning new languages myself

Was noch ...

I am interested in cultures, languages and just a curious person always asking how and why to see the world from different perspectives and gains deeper understanding of other peoples worldviews! Hence, travelling is combing all these aspects.

I am a huge sucker for animals and I really would love to start horse riding again...

kids really like me and as I already mentioned I have gained some experience in working with kids...

just tell my what to do, show me once and I´ll be able to do it on my own the next time - I am a quick learner

also: I love spending some of my free time in the gym alone or with friends so I am not the weakest even if i don´t look like Arnold Schwarzenegger
