I had travelled a lot when I was young, even overland from Germany to India and back. I have two children and even with them I went on vacations wherever the budget would let me. Then 2006 I joined couchsurfing, a back then, free of charge platform, for travellers interested in meeting locals. I hosted lots of people from all over the world and was hosted in Sweden, Turkey, France, Australia ... by a lot of people most of whomI still call friends.
Then some hardships made it impossible to travel, so I stayed home and made home my favourite place.
I became a passionate ecological gardener, using permaculture principles and the "Sepp Holzer Method" (do what works in your country / environment).
I became a herbalist and started to produce tinctures for several uses, created heral tea mixtures for medicinal purposes. Then I made myself:
vinegar, dried fruits, herbal salt, soap, candles, fermented foods, traditional preserves .....
I sew most of my pants myself, knit socks and more ..... and I LOVE to do all these things.
Now I am retired!! Since August 24 I stopped teaching special needs children for a job. But in my eart I will always be a person who is with the ones that did not start their lives at the bright side of life.
I gave away most of my stuff, left my rented flat an stored some valuables in a room at friends´. So I am a traveller for one year. I started on 22nd of September 24 in South Africa, went to India and presently I am in Thailand, leaving for Bali on 20th of February. After this I will visit my friends in Australia and my nephew in Alberta, Canada.

I love to play board and card games. In Germany I play regularily with my daughter and friends
I love to get to know people and learn about their culture and their way of life. I want to immerse in the country where I am travelling to.
