I love to spend time in nature wild camping and trekking as well as exploring new cities. I love to paint and draw and photography is also a love of mine. I have wide a taste and passion for music.

Hi! My name is Hayes

I'm on a bit of journey of self discovery which sounds like a cliché but its true, i'm trying to better myself emotionally, spiritually in health and educate myself along the way.
I am Passionate about travel, art, music and exploring nature. I have become lot more aware of my place and responsibility on this planet and really trying to learn and adopt new skills and habits that benefit more then just myself.

I have new found love for wild camping/trekking and have a long bucket list of places i want to visit. I to try escape the city when ever possible have some balance between the amazing benefits of living in a big city can offer and spending time in nature.
Traveling has been a great way to learn new skills meet amazing people while experiencing other cultures and Workaway facilitates this need in in a great way.

I'm passionate about art and creating things, I'm always interested hearing about creative projects and its something that is high on my list of things i want spend more time taking part in.
I interested in learning new skills such growing food and building, carpentry all things i have a some experience in from work i do here in London and past Workalways.
I consider myself a hard worker with positive attitude with varied skills and experience that i hope can be useful to the places i visit in the future.

My hopes for this year and is experiences as much of the worlds amazing nature as possible and connect with as many people as i can. I also really like to delve deeper into my creative proses and give it the attention it deserves.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

* DIY skills basic building skills ; I am a art technician/ set builder so have good level of skills . I have built some basic furniture in past work aways and for myself and am currently working on improving my woodwork skills and learning furniture restoration. I also have painting and decorating skills from working as decorator here in London.

Living in the middle of a concrete landscape has not stop me from growing my own vegetables :) and collecting plants. My last workaway was on a long term was in Chile learning the ropes of organic farming and i am eager to learn more. I have good understanding now how to grow food and care for plants. I Lived in the south of France over the Coved 19 Locked down and with my then partner grew our own food from seed and helped restore a family property.

* Cooking ; I love cooking (and eating!) hearty healthy foods, I have been learning lots about food preservation lately, pickling canning, drying... It's a great way not to waste and make the most of your produce! I mainly eat a plants based diet. I love to cook and all ways keen to learn ands try new things.

* Venue and bar management ; I used to be a venue and bar manager in London, i have many years of experience in hospitality.

* Project management ; I ran my own art and music events back in London
* Basic graphic design and video editing, social media promotion
