Beschreibung

We are two sisters, Naomi and Lara. We have a close friendship and both greatly enjoy connecting with others and learning through an exchange and of course travelling - we can't get enough!

We travelled through Europe together in 2017 and enjoyed doing a few workdays at a variety of places. Before this we worked in development and in sustainability projects in Asia. This year, 2024, we are both back travelling around, taking a well deserved break from busy jobs in the North of Australia.

Currently, we are in separate countries, but will be meeting up in June 2024. Naomi has been exploring Central and South America and Lara has been exploring Asia, Turkiye and now Europe.

Both of us love being in nature. We are often out camping and hiking on the weekends, exploring national parks. We enjoy being hands on and getting involved in a project. Naomi is a great artist and has made some incredible furniture too! Lara runs a side business as a hairdresser (you can see her stuff @yokehair_).

Other shared interesting including cycling, reading, philosophy history and wellness, gardening, pottery and arts, cooking, community building, sustainable projects, music and dancing.

We value getting to know people, their stories and way of life.

We are hard workers, we take innitiative and care about what we do. We really enjoy work and make sure we do it well. We do not believe in taking from people. We are not here for that reason. We are here for the joy in the exchange and the beauty that comes from working with others and building connections.

Worked remote in Australia as a community lawyer. Studied law and philosophy.

Run a small side business as a hairdresser

Trying her best to learn ITALIAN

Work areas include: hospitality coffee making and food prep, basics in bike mechanics, child care, aged and disability care, teaching English, farming and gardening.
