Beschreibung

We’re Harry and Jess, long-term partners in our late twenties from New Zealand. We love spending time outdoors and getting stuck into practical, hands on projects. We prefer to travel in a way that lets us slow down and properly experience a place rather than rushing through it. We’re interested in every day life, how things are done locally, and experiencing community and culture.
Jess is a naturopath and holistic health consultant, Harry works in the film industry as a scenic artist and has a special interest in alternative building practices. We are both happy to help with gardening, building or DIY projects, cooking, general maintenance, or anything practical that you need a couple of extra hands for. We would love to pick up new skills along the way and learn from the people we meet.

Was noch ...

We are both avid hikers and spend most of our free time outdoors. We grow vegetables and fruits during the summer months and love preserving and canning our produce for the winters.
Harry enjoys working with timber and is never without a project on the go. He’s regularly making furniture pieces and recently built a greenhouse to house our tropical fruit plants during the colder months in New Zealand.
Jess can mostly be found reading and would happily spend the day curled up in the sun with a book. She loves spending time in the kitchen cooking delicious food for friends and family. She also has an abundant flower garden that she tends to and creates large floral arrangements from.
