Tätigkeiten, die mich interessieren:

I like volunteering becauseI'm not a fan of touristing around. I like when I feel useful.
I'm good with children, seniors, animals.
I don't mind physical labor.
I'm quiet, calm, and I don't eat much.

Personally... It's like on those times when someone asks you to say something in a language you know (it may even be your own) and suddenly you forget "literally EVERYTHING")

I am calm, friendly (albeit often too quiet), hardworking, curious, compromised.
I am mostly stoic, but perhaps I am more of a fatalist? I believe that "whatever will be, will be..."

I lOVE cats, small cars with big tires, nature (rain, storms, mountains, lakes, rivers, forest hikes, sunsets, sunrises, winter: really cold temperatures, white nights and dark days in the northern hemisphere), also: foreign languages, living abroad, philosophy, and tinkering with mechanical stuff.

Over all I like discovering and trying new things and feeling useful.

I was born in Mexico... I have lived in:
-Thailand (volunteering with AFS as an English Teacher)
-The US (visiting relatives)
-Poland (studying a semester abroad).
-From October 2021 to October 2026 I lived in Arkhangelsk (Russia). I originally went for a single year to try learning the language (a childhood dream), but I liked it so much a year turned into 5.

According to my first university education, I am an English-Spanish translator/teacher. However, after many years I have far stranded from that.
The last "official" job I had was in Russia: A part time job in a cat shelter with over 200 sweet little souls (part time, because in order to legally continue living there I needed to be enrolled in university...or getting married 🤣)

I experienced Workaway for the first time building a house in Turkiye during fall of 2024. At that time it was my first time leaving Russia after my arrival and I was on a budget heading towards England to attend my mom's wedding.
I LOVED THE EXPERIENCE.

Since then I've also "workawayed" in France and Germany.

What else...? I don't like traveling, but I do it because circumstances keep moving me around. I don't like going from place to place just to see the sights and then boast: I've done that and that. When I go places I like taking time, getting to know people rather than places.

I wrote quite a lot already for someone who didn't know what to say...
There is however, still a lot to share...

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have lots of skills... but lately i prefer physical work waaay over the mental variety. Nevertheless it doesn't mean that I can't, or that i would refuse.
I know Spanish, English, French (used to be better), Russian.
I am a problem solver.
I am good with the elderly (I'm a good listener and walk partner), I am great with children (I always wanted to be an Aupair but...opportunities for men are few...and when i finally found one...COVID)
I like cooking.
I like animals... I specially adore cats.
I'm helpful, i am clean, i am tidy... I enjoy quite a lot tidying up and washing dishes.
I like that feeling when i feel like I'm useful and i do my best everytime.
I'm not affraid of getting dirty.

Was noch ...

I have a bunch of hobbies:
Cooking, watching tv shows/movies, DIY projects, I can play bass guitar (but not very well, and just for myself) I'd love to learn guitar, but i have terrible memory.

I kind of want to get into content creating...reading books, subtitling or dubbing... or maybe even doing Vlogs (but I'm too self-conscious for that)

I have house-sitted with cats here in russia 4 times

I really want to try sometime hitchhiking...
