I recently retired after a 30+ year career in medical imaging and sales and now I am excited about the opportunity to travel, meet new people and share experiences. I was not able to take a gap year in my youth, so now is my chance! My passion is helping others to improve their English skills. On a mission trip to Nicaragua, I was able to see the difference that speaking English can make in peoples' lives so I enjoy teaching and tutoring students in English. I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of students and it is so rewarding to see them succeed.

I have had the opportunity to teach in Lithuania, Poland and Bolivia and look forward to teaching in new countries so that I can meet new people, develop relationships and learn about their culture.

I love the outdoors, hiking, kayaking and spending time enjoying the earth's natural beauty. I look forward to travelling to new places, meeting new people and seeing all that these places have to offer.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have a Bachelor's Degree in business and worked in the medical field for over 30 years. This provided me with computer and presentation skills.

I have a Graduate Certificate in TESOL and have been teaching and tutoring ESL students for 5+ years.

I have experience working with children, teaching Sunday school, as a Girl Sout leader and teaching outdoor education to student groups.

I also enjoy the following and would be happy to share my skills in: gardening, needlecrafts (knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, sewing), cooking, crafts and art projects.
