About us:
We are two young students currently in Coimbra for our Erasmus semester until summer 2026. We are open-minded, motivated, and curious people who love everything hands-on, creative, and connected to nature. We both enjoy practical work, creative projects, and being outdoors. We already have experience leading groups and taking responsibility, for example through childcare and supervising activities for children. We are reliable, engaged, and enjoy creating positive and supportive environments for others.

Hey I’m Gaye,
I am currently doing my Master’s degree in Biodiversity, which means I have knowledge in sustainability, environmental awareness, and natural processes. Through my studies, I have developed a deep understanding of ecosystems, conservation, and the importance of protecting biodiversity. I would therefore love to contribute to eco-projects and environmental initiatives, where I can actively apply my knowledge.
I also have experience communicating environmental topics to children in an accessible and playful way through different educational projects. Making nature understandable and exciting for young people is something I truly enjoy.
I am always ready to discover new things, especially the biodiversity of Portugal. Exploring new landscapes, plants, and ecosystems inspires me deeply. When I’m not outside on a hike I spend my free time, drawing and doing crafts and arts to relax.

Hi I’m Annabell
I am currently studying Social Work in my Bachelor’s degree, and I am also a trained early childhood educator. Through my education and professional experience, I have worked with children, teenagers, and elderly people. I genuinely love being surrounded by people and creating meaningful connections.
I enjoy enriching others with my travel stories and cooking delicious meals for friends and groups. One of my biggest dreams is to open a social restaurant one day, a place where community, inclusion, and good food come together.
I am also very active and passionate about sports and wellness. I love jogging, swimming, and strength training. Staying active helps me maintain balance and positive energy, which I also bring into my work with others.
