Hi !

I'm from Quebec, the main French-speaking part of Canada, and I'm looking for simplicity, peace and joy. I'm quiet and introspective, but I can also be very sociable when I'm around like-minded people. My views are universal and I try to live the present moment.

I like to travel mostly to reconnect with nature, discover new landscapes (this planet is absolutely beautiful !) and give myself space and time for contemplation, while meeting new people, looking for new experiences, and to help, learn and share whatever I'm able to offer.

I'm interested in everything that relates to culture, music, also literature, cinema, animals (especially dogs), yoga, psychology, philosophy, spirituality, global issues, among many other things.

I'm also interested to discover different ways of living, more sustainable and meaningful, and to meet people who dare think outside the box and try to learn from them.

So far I've done three workaways in France in the summer of 2025, and in Ecuador in 2020 on a fruit farm off the grid.

Professionally I've studied business administration and accounting, so anything that relates to management and bookkeeping is no secret to me.

I can teach French and English and like to learn new languages.

I've also studied drama and music since I was a kid, so I have various good skills in the art and creation fields.

I’ve been practicing yoga (especially studying philosophy and cultivating devotion ) and meditation for a few years now, and I can share quite a lot about that. I am also deeply interested in the connections between the world’s various spiritual traditions and their shared essence, their origins, and their evolution over time—whether it be Indigenous knowledge, Christian mysticism, Buddhism, Sufism, Hinduism...

I can cook fairly well, paint, do basic physical work, help with various household chores, like to work with my hands, especially gardening in the summer, and have worked on small restorations projects at home through the years. I'm independent, self motivated and a fast learner.

I have a pretty wide range of interests, in the summer I try to focus on hiking and cycling. I love to discover new landscapes and that is one of the reason why I love to travel.

Whether it's through books, experience, music, cinema, learning new things or conversation, I'm always looking to find a deeper meaning to life and meet kindred spirits.

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Help with gardening and ...)

Mon séjour d'environ 10 jours ici fut tout simplement magique. Élodie et Brice ont su m'accueillir avec tout l'amour et la bienveillance qui imprègnent leurs êtres, dans un cadre aussi exceptionnel qu'eux. Avec le mont Canigou en face et Eus juste à côté, il y a une énergie incroyable. C'est l'endroit parfait pour se ressourcer et pratiquer toute… read more forme de yoga ou de méditation. Il y a même une salle dédiée à laquelle j'ai pu avoir accès la grande majorité du temps. Ma chambre était située dans le jardin avec toute la tranquilité et l'intimité dont je pouvais avoir besoin.

Le "travail" de quatre heures par jour a été principalement du désherbage et de l'entretien de leur magnifique terrain. Élodie a cuisiné les meilleurs plats végétariens que j'aie jamais goûtés, et un de leur chien Patchou, le plus mignon au monde, était souvent à mes côtés pendant que je travaillais. Nous avons partagé la majorité des repas et discuté de sujets vraiment intéressants. Toujours rayonnant de bonté, Brice m'a aidé à me déplacer et m'a donné des conseils pour la suite de mon voyage. Tous deux ont veillé à ce que tout soit parfait pendant mon séjour.

J'ai eu le privilège de visiter Eus et de les accompagner à Prades et à Fuilla pour un repas, ainsi qu'à Perpignan pour suivre un cours de yoga enseigné par Brice. J'ai également pu rencontrer leur fille qui est vraiment un petit ange, et de l'écouter me raconter leurs nombreux voyages autour du monde. Il y a également de belles randonnées à faire alentour qu'il faut découvrir, avec des trésors cachés.

Je ne garderai que de bons souvenirs de mon séjour et de votre belle famille. Merci pour votre ouverture, vos conseils, votre écoute, votre lumière, votre dévouement. Cette expérience restera pour toujours une étape importante dans ma vie et dans ma recherche spirituelle.

My 10-day stay here was simply magical. Élodie and Brice welcomed me with all the love and kindness that permeates their beings, in a setting as exceptional as they are. With Mount Canigou and Eus right next door, there's an incredible vibe. It's the perfect place to recharge your batteries and practice any form of yoga or meditation. There is even a dedicated room that I had access to most of the time. My room was located in the garden, offering all the peace and privacy I could have hoped for.

The four hours of “work” per day consisted mainly of weeding and maintaining their beautiful grounds. Élodie cooked the best vegetarian meals I have ever tasted, and one of their dogs, Patchou, the cutest in the world, was often by my side while I worked. We shared most of our meals and discussed really interesting topics. Always radiating kindness, Brice helped me get around and gave me advice for the rest of my trip. They both made sure everything was perfect during my stay.

I had the privilege of visiting Eus and accompanying them to Prades and Fuilla for a meal, as well as to Perpignan to attend a yoga class taught by Brice. I also got to meet their daughter, who is truly an angel, and listen to her tell me about their many trips around the world. There are also beautiful hikes in the surrounding area, with hidden treasures to discover.

I will only have fond memories of my stay and your wonderful family. Thank you for your openness, advice, your listening ear, your light, and your dedication. This experience will forever remain an important milestone in my life and in my spiritual quest.

Je ne pourrais être plus reconnaissant envers Julien pour mes deux semaines passées dans la magnifique région de Najac, qui est un hôte tout simplement formidable et un homme généreux, drôle, bienveillant, intéressant et attentionné. Il a toujours été clair et juste dans ses demandes.

Nous avons passé la première semaine à… read more veiller à l'entretien du terrain et améliorer la clôture pour essayer d'éviter que les chèvres s'échappent. Elles n'en font parfois qu'à leurs têtes, mais cela fait leur charme ! La deuxième semaine j'ai gardé la maison et veiller sur les animaux. En résumé, le travail était simple et peu difficile. Tout s'est déroulé à merveille.

La chambre était très confortable et la vue du lever du soleil sur le village de Najac restera gravée dans ma mémoire pour toujours.

J'ai également eu la chance de faire plusieurs activités grâce à Julien, visiter Najac et Cordes-sur-Ciel, assister à de superbes concerts, aller au marché à Villefranche-de-Rouergue, me baigner à Laguépie... Si vous aimez la tranquilité mais un endroit pas trop reclus, c'est l'idéal. Si vous n'avez pas de voiture, vous pouvez faire du stop sans problème, ou alors demander à Julien ou ses voisins, et vous avez de fortes chances de pouvoir découvrir un peu les alentours.

I couldn't be more grateful to Julien for these two weeks spent in the magnificent Najac region. He is simply a wonderful host, a generous, funny, kind, interesting, and attentive man. He has always been clear and fair in his requests.

We spent the first week maintaining the grounds and improving the fence to try to prevent the goats from escaping. They sometimes do as they please, but that's part of their charm! The second week, I looked after the house and the animals. In short, the work was simple and not very difficult. Everything went wonderfully.

My room was very comfortable, and the view of the sunrise over the village of Najac will remain etched in my memory forever.

I also had the chance to do several activities thanks to Julien, visit Najac and Cordes-sur-Ciel, attend some great concerts, go to the market in Villefranche-de-Rouergue, swim in Laguépie... If you like peace and quiet but don't want to be too isolated, this is the ideal place. If you don't have a car, you can easily hitchhike or ask Julien or his neighbors for a ride, and you'll have a good chance of exploring the surrounding area.
