Hi! I’m Fernanda, originally from Brazil, living in Europe since 2020. I love connecting with people, learning about new cultures, languages, cuisine, art, music, and exploring local traditions.
Beschreibung
Hi there, my name is Fernanda. I’m originally from Brazil and also hold an Italian passport. I’ve been living in Europe since 2020, in Dublin, where I spent five years gaining experience in childcare, hospitality, and healthcare. As an au pair, I cared for children — school runs, meals, baths, bedtime, walks, and activities. I also worked in small Airbnbs, handling housekeeping, room preparation, and guest readiness.
After that, I completed a healthcare qualification and worked for three years caring for elderly clients. I also assisted as an interpreter in hospitals, clinics, and businesses, helping people communicate clearly in important situations.
I’ve chosen Switzerland to start a new chapter and have been learning German for a year (currently at B1). My mother tongue is Portuguese, and I also speak English and Spanish fluently. I must confess, I’m excited to become fluent in German — a language that truly fascinates me.
More recently, I completed courses in Brazil in aesthetics — brow design and tinting, manicures and pedicures, and eyelash extensions and lifting — which I can offer as part of my contribution. I also enjoy cooking and have experience managing a small restaurant in Brazil.
In summary, I can contribute with housekeeping, childcare, cooking, elderly companionship, animal care, pet or house sitting, and basic beauty treatments. I’m motivated to share my skills and learn as much as I can about Switzerland — its culture, cuisine, habits, language, and history.
People describe me as trustworthy, responsible, funny, and positive. I always try to see the good in every situation and enjoy deep conversations with people of all ages. I’ve learned that everyone, from children at 4 to adults at 90, has something to teach. I’m also very aware of life’s brevity, which makes me focus not only on living fully but on growing as a human being, especially in a world filled with conflicts and challenges.
