Hola! My name is Eva, and I'm a 24 year old Danish woman living in Barcelona. When I am not at university, I enjoy being in nature, reading books, cooking and creating lovely memories with friends, family and new people from all over the world. I study rhetorics, so I am fascinated by the many ways people from different cultures and languages can communicate with each other, and I am always curious to learn, understand and be inspired by other people, their cultures and ways of living. I have a big wish to improve my Spanish, and hope to gain new knowledge and skills through work away!

Vom Workawayer (Eva) für Host (Enjoy life in nature and ...)

I had my first Workaway experience with Maria and Marcos, and I truly had an amazing time at their place. First of all, Maria and Marcos were great and welcoming hosts, making sure everything was ok from the beginning of my stay until I left. They are very interesting people who will share their knowledge and we had many conversations about… read more movies, books, nutrition, Asturian culture and the climate. My spanish skills are not the best, but they were very good at communicating with me any way. Maria is an amazing chef and will cook you the most delicious and nutritious vegetarian meals. The work was very good as well, something different and new everyday with the guide of either Maria or Marcos. On my days off, Maria and Marcos were happy to take me on trips to the river or the waterfalls, but they were also very good at giving me private time for my self when I wanted it. The area and land is just beautiful, so calming and filled with lovely animals and a little creek that you can take a dip in. I would definitely recommend anyone who is interested in going to Asturias for work away to stay with Maria and Marcos. Thank you very much!

Tuve mi primera experiencia Workaway con María y Marcos, y realmente tuve un tiempo increíble en su casa. En primer lugar, María y Marcos fueron unos anfitriones estupendos y acogedores, asegurándose de que todo estuviera bien desde el principio de mi estancia hasta que me fui. Son personas muy interesantes que comparten sus conocimientos y tuvimos muchas conversaciones sobre películas, libros, nutrición, la cultura asturiana y el clima. Mis conocimientos de español no son los mejores, pero eran muy buenos en la comunicación conmigo de cualquier manera. María es una chef increíble y te cocinará las comidas vegetarianas más deliciosas y nutritivas. El trabajo fue muy bueno también, algo diferente y nuevo todos los días con la guía de María o Marcos. En mis días libres, María y Marcos estaban encantados de llevarme de excursión al río o a las cascadas, pero también eran muy buenos dándome tiempo privado para mí cuando lo deseaba. La zona y el terreno son simplemente preciosos, muy tranquilos y llenos de animales encantadores y un arroyo en la que te puedes dar un chapuzón. Definitivamente recomendaria a cualquiera que este interesado en ir a Asturias por trabajo que se quede con Maria y Marcos. ¡Muchas Gracias!
