Hello everyone!
My name is Alexandra. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and after turning 21
I decided to move to Europe.
My destination? Rome. Waiting for me there were aunts, cousins, and the scent of late summer in the air. After just a few months, I realized that Italy would become my home.

I have Italian citizenship, so I don’t need any permits to move around and live in Europe.

I describe myself as a curious, joyful, and empathetic person, someone who still has the ability to be amazed by small gestures. I love being around people, listening, sharing, and always learning something new.

In 2016 I discovered Yoga, an encounter that deeply shaped my path and eventually led me to become a Hatha Yoga teacher. I love giving new life to old objects, playing with colors, experimenting, and observing what emerges from the creative process. Walking in nature gives me a deep sense of calm and connection.

I adore animals: I share my home with two cats, Tom and Grey, and with Bella, a medium-sized dog.
I chose Workaway because I see it as a genuine and wonderful way to discover new places, connect with authentic people, and experience meaningful exchanges.

Mi chiamo Alexandra, sono nata a Buenos Aires, in Argentina, e dopo aver compiuto 21 anni ho deciso di partire per l’Europa.
Destinazione? Roma. Ad aspettarmi c’erano zie, cugini e il profumo di fine estate nell’aria. Dopo pochi mesi ho capito che l’Italia sarebbe diventata casa mia.

Ho la cittadinanza italiana, quindi non ho bisogno di permessi per muovermi e vivere in Europa.

Mi definisco una persona curiosa, gioiosa ed empatica, che conserva ancora la capacità di meravigliarsi dei piccoli gesti. Amo stare con le persone, ascoltare, condividere e imparare sempre qualcosa di nuovo.

Nel 2016 mi sono avvicinata allo Yoga, un incontro che ha segnato profondamente il mio percorso e che mi ha portata a diventare insegnante di Hatha Yoga. Amo ridare vita a vecchi oggetti, giocare con i colori, sperimentare e osservare ciò che emerge dal processo creativo. Camminare nella natura mi regala un profondo senso di calma e connessione.

Adoro gli animali: condivido la mia casa con due gatti, Tom e Grey, e con Bella, una cagnolina di taglia media.
Ho scelto Workaway perché lo considero un modo autentico e meraviglioso per scoprire nuovi luoghi, entrare in contatto con persone vere e vivere esperienze di scambio profondo.

My professional path is a mosaic of different experiences. I started in Italy as a Spanish-speaking tourist assistant, a role that helped me develop empathy, strong communication skills and adaptability.
Later, I worked for several years in the home living and interior design sector, covering roles in sales, management and purchasing. Between 2017 and 2020, I explored the wellness world as a holistic therapist in several spas in Rome. More recently, I managed a men’s clothing boutique.

I am a sunny, curious and empathetic person, always evolving. Today, I also focus on photography, a great passion that allows me to observe the world with sensitivity and attention. I love learning, exploring and opening myself to new experiences, especially those based on human and cultural exchange.


Il mio percorso professionale è un mosaico di esperienze diverse. Ho iniziato in Italia come assistente turistica di lingua spagnola, un ruolo che mi ha aiutato a sviluppare empatia, forti capacità comunicative e adattabilità.
Successivamente, ho lavorato per diversi anni nel settore della casa e del design d'interni, ricoprendo ruoli nelle vendite, nella gestione e negli acquisti. Tra il 2017 e il 2020, ho esplorato il mondo del benessere come terapista olistica in diverse spa di Roma. Più recentemente, ho gestito una boutique di abbigliamento maschile.

Sono una persona solare, curiosa ed empatica, sempre in evoluzione. Oggi mi concentro anche sulla fotografia, una grande passione che mi permette di osservare il mondo con sensibilità e attenzione. Amo imparare, esplorare e aprirmi a nuove esperienze, specialmente quelle basate sullo scambio umano e culturale.
