Beschreibung

Hey my name is Emily and I am from Switzerland. I am currently doing my exchange in Norway, studying in Oslo. I am looking for opportunities to get to know Norway more in the summer after the semester, preferably by the ocean and on a boat.

I love to be active and try out new and local sports and activities and also getting to appreciate beautiful nature. I have been learning Norwegian for more than a three now on Duolingo and have been practicing my Norwegian with the people in Oslo, so I am very interested in speaking more. A few years back, I was volunteering in Costa Rica in an environmental conservation project, where I learned about reforestation, flora and fauna, eco-tourism and much more. Part of my volunteer project was also working in a hotel so I learned a lot about tourism and hosting, housekeeping and planning.
I have experience in cooking for big groups of people and in working with children as I used to cook in summer camps for kids
I don't mind working hard and learning new things on the way.

In my free time I like to read and do sports. I am a member of my local athletics club (I do heptathlon) and play Volleyball competetively. I am very interested in marine biology.
