Hello dear host !
I’m Elise, a 28 years old french girl.
I’m a food process engineer working in the malt industry. From Feb 2021 to Nov 2022, I worked in Ethiopia for the commissioning of a new malting plant, and this has been both personally and professionally the greatest experience of my life.
After my mission was finished, I wanted to keep on travelling the world so I decided to ask my company a sabbatical year.
I have been backpacking 7 months in Australia and 5 months in India on 2023 and 204. Now, I'm back to work in France but I just booked 3 weeks in Sri Lanka from 21 Nov 2025 to 12 Dec 2025 because i miss travelling.
if I am on Workaway it's to meet local people and to get to discover countries the purest way possible.
About how i could help you...
My parents are farmers (dairy farm and cereal farm) and I grew up actively helping them (tractors driving during harvest, milking, feeding the animals, fencing,… also making cheese 😁)
I would be really happy to help you doing any tasks you would need me to do and I would put my best self in it. Im a fast learner !
I am a really easy going girl, adapting easily to any new environment. -
