Hello Hosts & other Workawayers!

We are Eline & Camile, a couple from The Netherlands.

A year ago we decided that we wanted to get something else out of our lives then what we we're getting. Fulltime traveling, volunteering and learning is what we want to be doing. For the past year we have worked hard to make this dream become a reality. Now, we have quit our jobs, cancelled our lease and are ready to go on this adventure.

Both of us have travelled a lot, separately and together. Seeing the beauty this planet holds is on of the reasons that drives us to keep exploring. The beauty, for us, does not only come in the form of nature, but also in people. Meeting new and interesting people, learning about other cultures and experiencing different ways of life.

We have volunteered together in a hostel in Albania, which was our first experience with Workaway. We loved meeting so many different kind of people, and the gratification it gave to be helping a local establishment with growing their business.

After this experience Eline has been a volunteer in a hostel in Panama and has volunteered as a English teaching assistent for young children in Guatamala.

We are very passionate about the Latin culture. Eline has spent 6 months traveling and studying Spanish around Central America. Camile has spent some time in Mexico and to prepare for our Workaway adventure, we have been studying in a language school in Spain as well.

We are a very active and easygoing couple, we love hiking, playing games, going on adventures!

As we both are fluent in Dutch and English, we would be very interested in teaching these. Eline is very advanced in her Spanish studies, so she would love to be able to practice more with conversations in Spanish. Camile has been studying Spanish, but would like to lean more.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Eline has a degree in accounting and experience in Business Economics. But aside from that she has a lot of experience with babysitting and farm work. Until she was 18, she always had horses and spent lots of time working on the barn.

She has spent a couple weeks volunteering to teach English to children in Guatemala. This is something she really loved doing and wishes to do again.

Camile has worked as a carpenter for a couple years and is a good allround builder. He has experience with building structures, placing walls, painting jobs and demolition. He also has spent many hours babysitting, especially on his nieces and nephews.

Also we have worked together on a few projects to build furniture.

In summary we can help you with administration jobs, carpentry, farm work, babysitting, English lessons, hostel activities, taking care of animals and many more!

Was noch ...

We are very big on board games and love having a good time. We're always in for some party and fun, but appreciate being very relaxed and quiet as well. We love all animals and are very interested in interacting with them. Eline especially loves horses and Camile is a real cat lover!

Also, Eline really loves cooking and is pretty great at it!
