Hello! :)

My name is Elia, I’m 24 years old and currently living in Lyon, France. I recently completed my studies: a bachelor’s degree in biology and earth sciences, followed by a master’s specialized in sustainability.

Now, I’m eager to take some time for myself and explore the world through Woofing. I’m excited not only to travel but also to contribute meaningfully, learn new skills, and immerse myself in different cultures.

I’ve had a few Woofing experiences in Italy, where I focused mainly on gardening, permaculture, and renovation projects.

What I’m looking for next is a Woofing experience by the sea, somewhere peaceful, inspiring, and close to nature.

Travel has always been a big part of my life. I was fortunate to grow up in Africa (Ivory Coast, Guinea, Chad, Gabon), spending most of my childhood outdoors and developing a deep connection with nature. I’m truly a child of the outdoors.
I also volunteered with an environmental association in Senegal, participating in impactful projects like creating artificial reefs to restore marine life, cleaning beaches, replanting mangroves, replacing and making urban furniture from plastic waste collected on the streets.

In my daily life, I’m energetic and not afraid to get my hands dirty! I enjoy good parties from time to time but also appreciate quiet moments and calm surroundings depending on what you prefer, I am very adaptable.
I am also vegetarian, and love working with animals. I have also some good skills about horse riding and caring.

To resume, I am passionate about nature and being outdoors, and I promise to bring only good mood and good energy at the table !

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Few years ago, I lived in Chad where I did horse riding in a farm. Later on the woman who owned the farm became really close to my family so I began to help her a lot in her daily tasks. It included taking care of the animals, doing some farming and helping building stables.

In general, I think I could be really helpful on your farm because I grew up being outside, always on adventure building all kind of things. I am definitely not scared of having my hands in dirt, and do all kind of work you could need me doing in your farm.
I also love photography and video, taking care or animals or going sale your product on the market.

I would really love to come help you on your farm. I am highly motivated, I love to work outside and gardening / taking care of animals and I am a fast learner so I promise to put all my energy to provide you the best help I can.
Plus, I would really love to learn more about sustainability and agronomy, I think it would be a real advantage for my following career and I am eager to know more.
