Hey,
My name is Elisabeth. I’m 19 years old and I live in Germany. My family and I live on a small farm. I’ve been riding since I’m 6 and my sister and I have a Connemara pony (Kilkenny) since 2015. Our main discipline is showjumping, in which we also already competed up to 100cm.
Currently, I’m about to graduate from school in June. After that, I want to travel to get as many experiences as possible.
It is a dream of mine to study medicine after my travels.
My A-levels are English and History. Indeed I’m really interested in history which makes historical reading, watching documentaries, or listening to historical podcasts one of my hobbies. Other hobbies of mine are hanging out with my friends, reading in general, riding is of course also one of them and I like to do some yoga, running, or hiking.

I’ve already been to Australia twice since we have friends there. We mainly visited the west coast on our first trip and on our second trip in 2018/2019, we saw the east/south coast.
I’ve also been to Italy many times with my family and I went to London with some friends last year.

Being away from home isn´t a problem for me. Moreover, I´d say that it is easy for me to adapt. I love to meet new people, make new experiences, and learn something about cultures and places. I speak fluent English but as always with languages, it may take some time for me to get into it at first.

I hope to get in contact with many nice people here and of course, would answer some questions if necessary :)

Something about my skills...

I´ve been working part times next to the school in a bakery for over 2 years. Therefore I´m used to social interaction, selling products, and independent work.

Since I´m interested in working with animals and medicine I did two internships. One was in a small vet clinic and the other was in an equine clinic—both last two weeks. Also, I´m good at working and taking care of nearly all kinds of farm animals as well, since I grew up having them in my daily life.
I´m experienced in riding, grooming, and general contact with horses.

I do also have some experience in babysitting and general employment of children.
I´m giving private lessons to someone in the 10th grade for nearly 2 years now and in nearly every subject.

I´m also able to work in the household with cooking, cleaning, laundry, and everything else that comes up.

Generally, I would say that I´m ambitious, fast learning, helpful, and interested in learning or teaching new things. Of course I’m not a talent or professional but I’m willing to try my best. :)
