Salut ! Je m’appelle Eléa, j’ai 25 ans et je vis au Royaume-Uni. J’adore la France et je suis ici pour explorer différentes régions du pays, vivre comme de vrais Français et surtout améliorer mon français. Cela fait des années que je suis passionnée par l’apprentissage de la langue et que je rêve de devenir bilingue. Je suis déjà passée pas mal de temps en France, à Paris, Bordeaux, Nice, aussi en Ardèche, Bretagne et ailleurs. Des fois en work away ou WWOOFing, et j’ai adoré chaque expérience !
Ce qui me rend le plus heureuse dans la vie, ce sont les animaux ! Je connais bien les animaux de compagnie, surtout les chiens et chats, mais j’aimerais apprendre prendre soins des autres animaux comme les poules, vaches, ânes et surtout les chevaux.J’ai récemment retrouvé ma passion d’enfance pour les chevaux et je suis très désireuse d’apprendre à monter à cheval. Mais je suis également intéressé par l’apprentissage des nouvelles compétences, quoi que soit; toujours prête à essayer quelque chose nouveau.
De plus, je suis une grande amoureuse de la nature et de la campagne et j’adore explorer de nouveaux endroits en me promenant. En été j’aime beaucoup nager dans la mer et j’ai récemment découvert la longe côte, ce qui m’intéresse à essayer.

I have been keen to learn french for many years now and have had a few unsuccessful attempts (first in 2020, where I managed 3 weeks in France before the COVID lockdown, then in 2023 I spent 4 months in Paris, which of course, did nothing to improve my French), but managed to improve during a month last spring in Bordeaux speaking only French, as well as 2 weeks last summer also in Bordeaux. I'm hoping being in the countryside, where no one speaks much english will help me get to a comfortable level with my French ability. -

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I have a lot of experience working with animals, particularly dogs, having grown up with dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and more. From ages 16-18 I also studied animal care and management at sixth form and I've volunteered at an animal rescue centre with dogs and cats, worked at a dog daycare and as a dog walker.
Additionally, I have spent a lot of time looking after children, babysitting and au pairing. Most recently I nannied for a 4 year old in Paris and au paired for a family with three girls (7, 12 and 14) in Bordeaux.
I have helped with many a DIY task around the house as my parents are often redecorating the house, and am always happy to learn and try new things. -
