Beschreibung

We are Dominika and Simon - couple from CZ, both in our late 20s, in love with nature and healthy life style. Currently travelling the world and having a great time experiencing new cultures and making new friends!

We see ourselves living rural and off the land in the future so any experience we can get in gardening, landscaping, building, animal care and everything in between means value to us. We are open minded, fit, not afraid of hard work and always trying to focus at the bright side of things.


Over a year ago we have decided to leave Europe and our comfort zone in search of new adventures. We moved to New Zealand where we've done everything outdoors. Fell in love with endless camping adventures and done several jobs in orchards and horticulture. We have been part of quite a few wwoofings (workaway alternative) during our NZ journey and always got to learn new things, meet new people and animals, and again understood a bit more of what living of the grid means.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We have done a variety of orchard jobs including bud thinning, pruning, weeding, fertilising, picking the fruit (avocados, mandarines, strawberries, tomatoes, grapes.......),
basic gardening - mowing lawn, weeding, mulching, compost making. The last job we have done was a conservation work - digging invasive weeds out of a native bush.

We both enjoy spending time in the kitchen. Dominika especially enjoys baking while Simon is cooking the main dish

Was noch ...

Simon loves spots and being active outdoors with the current obsession being surfing. He is also passionate photographer and magazine obsessive and released his own BMX zine the last year. Would love to get more building skills and get into beekeeping one day!

Dominika enjoys the outdoors, flora and fauna. She is very passionate about good coffee as she did work as barista for years. Enjoys fermenting and baking. Loves to do all sorts of hand-crafting such as macrame or crocheting.
