Tätigkeiten, die mich interessieren:

I am guiding a tour in Finland March 8-15. Before that I will be in Finland already, very eager to help with whatever as long as it's related to the outdoors.

Beschreibung

I have worked as a nurse in the hospital for about ten years. Then I did development aid in east Africa for two years, in community health care and in youth policy. After this I changed to work more as an outdoor sports instructor and became self employed. Working in guiding and tourism, and adventure and outdoor, but also my heart still beats for the less fortunate. My dream is to finally bring those two worlds together; care for the less fortunate and adventure/nature/outdoors. I believe that nature provides a wonderful tool and that adventure should be available for everyone! I also work in palliative home care, because of this same reason. So often it IS possible to achieve some last wishes, if I am willing to take an extra step. I worked with children with and without disability.
At the moment I also work as a gardener.
I am a international Wilderness Guide, trained in Kuru, Finland. Spend a couple of winters or parts of winters up there.
Traveling lifts my spirit, I love to see and learn about cultural, local differences. According to other people I am very cheerful and caring. I prefer a haystack over a hotel and a familylife over hostel life. I think back to basics is the great adventure, rather than fancy places or activities. I am very eager to learn new (practical) skills, learn about nature and wildlife, I value old crafts and knowledge and I believe that there is always a shared language to find to communicate. I am fit and strong and don't mind having my hands dirty.
I am also very willing to tell you more about myself if you wish so.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Lots of people skills. But also creative, practical, hard working. Easy adapting. I love fysical work. I know how to sail and I love it. I love to chop fire wood, make campfires and live outside the house for prolonged periods of time. I am really good with children.
I love dogs; I always travel together with my own dog; Kaamos.

Was noch ...

Would love to be of help, be close to nature rather than being in the city. I love children and they often love me. Interested in the normal local life rather than the touristic life. I prefer to work outside.
