I live in the south of France, between the sea and the mountains.
I'd love to travel to an English-speaking country to improve my English for my future professional projects.
I really enjoy spending time with children. I love animals, horse riding, and creative activities such as drawing, making bracelets, and photography. I also enjoy music (I collect vinyl records) and going for walks in nature especially in the mountains.

I'm an easy-going and positive person, always curious to learn new things and meet new people !

i have a driving license and i'm Galop 3 in horse-riding. I also completed the first part of the bafa and have experience taking care of children.
I love cooking and baking, and I'm happy to help with gardening or small outdoor tasks.
I speak English (A2 level) enough to communicate and improve while traveling.

I'm outgoing, cheerful, dynamic, and I have a good sense of organization. I always try to bring positive energy to the people I work with ! :)

I love spending time playing board games like werewolf, catan, skyjo, Cluedo, and many others.
i also enjoy exploring new places, visiting museums, towns and villages full of history. I like learning about the past of the places I visit and feeling their unique atmosphere.

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Share our family life and ...)

I would like to make a feedback on my past experience with Niki.
We had agreed together, during our phone exchange before my departure from France, that my stay would take place from January 10 until the end of April.
Upon my arrival at Malta airport, I had to go alone to Niki’s apartment with €20 of taxi at my expense. Once on site, I waited… read more about 25 minutes before someone came to welcome me. The grandfather finally welcomed me, very warmly, and I thank him for that. I then went to rest.
The following days went very well. The grandfather included me a lot. With #child name redacted#, everything was going well: she is a very energetic little girl, even if I sometimes had the impression that she took me for her maid.
When the grandfather left, the situation changed. We shared much less moments. Niki would come back late from work and go directly to her room. We exchanged very little, and the communication was mainly done by messages, even when we were in the house at the same time.
On her Workaway profile, Niki indicates that she has difficulties maintaining her house but that she does her best. From my point of view, this does not reflect reality: she regularly left mess behind her, which I had to manage. Even during my days off (Saturday and Sunday), no cleaning was done, and I had to catch up everything on Monday (video as proof).
I felt a lack of recognition. Everything had to go their way, and I sometimes had the impression of being considered as a thing rather than as a person.
I also took contact with a former Workawayer, who gave me a similar feedback on her experience.
Besides, I had to go once a week to the father’s house by bus (around one hour of journey), with a transport card (€30 to €35) at my expense. At his place, everything was going well.
On March 2, Niki sent me a message (once again, without face-to-face exchange) to tell me that I had to leave on March 14, which is within 10 days, while it was initially planned that I stay until the end of April, without clear explanation.
Not being able to return to France before March 21, I asked her to extend my stay until that date, which she accepted.
However, this situation made me think a lot and worried me. I wondered if I had done something wrong. I therefore wrote to her to ask her the question. She answered me that it was not the case and explained to me that her father was facing problems and had to be present with them before March 14, which reassured me.
On March 9, Molly’s father sent me a message (translated into French) to come back on certain situations. Some remarks were justified and I accepted them. However, he also reproached me for putting pressure on Niki regarding my departure and suggested that I leave as soon as possible.
After reflection, I decided to leave the same evening, as the situation was becoming difficult for me.
After my departure, I noticed that the grandfather was joined by Niki in London on April 2. This gave me the feeling that Niki had not been totally honest with me.
I specify that this message only reflects my feeling and my experience.
