Beschreibung

Our favorite activities include skiing, hiking, biking, swimming, scuba diving, but honestly we just love being OUTSIDE!!! Currently we are both nurses in the Neuro Critical Care Unit and we are looking to take a step away from nursing for a little in hopes of getting more in tune with ourselves, nature, and see parts of the world we have never adventured. We have a passion for learning and trying new things, as well as, getting our hands dirty! Both of us are hard workers and have a passion for helping people, plants, and animals:) Some of our other skills include communication and team building. Both of us are in shape and enjoying working with our hands. We have experience with sheep, cows, goats, chickens, dogs, and cats. We also feel very comfortable around children as well as people we have never met before. Through Workaway we want to broaden our skill sets and learn more about local culture, permaculture, eco system restoration and make friends from all over the world!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am a nurse in an ICU right now, so I have some medical background and know how to critically think. I also have experience volunteering on a wildlife refuge in Ecuador where I cleaned animal habitats, prepared food, and help educate guests about the wildlife. I also have experience working on a small dairy farm in Hawaii. I learned how to milk cows, goats, and sheep; I also harvested fruits and vegetables that grew around the property.
