Ciao everyone, Giulia and I are going to be in Morocco starting in the North from Tangier and will make up the rest! We would be keen to meet other backpackers during this time for a coffee or tea :)

Beschreibung

Hi, My Name is Cristiano I am a student in Bologna, Italy. I am originally from Cape Town, South Africa with Italian heritage. I ended up moving to Italy a couple of years ago initially to Rome & now Bologna. A primary motivating force to travel is to share my culture and learn about others' whilst having a laugh along the way! Growing up in a country & a city rich in natural parks, mountains & marine life shaped my daily life - always barefoot and outside :) Alongside this I love to document what I see through my camera and its lens with a bit of writing too - all connected to travel.

Ciao! I am Giulia, I was born and raised in Milan but grew up surrounded by nature..far from the city and close to the lakes! I studied natural sciences in Bologna and have since been finishing up a work experience in Cape Town, South Africa. The last few years have taken me to Canada, Australia and now South Africa places far far away from my home yet I love it - travelling has offered me the opportunity to get out my comfort zone, meet people (that have become friends :) ) and happily share my culture. It has allowed me to grow as a person, becoming more flexible and outgoing. I have also become passionate about seeing new places, people and of course nature!!

We have both met in Bologna and have travelled together for the past few years and it never gets old!! It says a lot if you can travel with a person and truly seeing new places with eachother is something special. We are keen to adding to the growing list by working away !!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Having lived in Italy for 4 years & having both parents being Italian I am lucky enough to speak Italian at a high level as well as speaking English fluently. As well as studying Business & Economics in Bologna, I have been working as a waiter for the past two months at a local Coffee Shop. Last summer I worked as a waiter at a Bar at a coastal town in Tuscany & as a child I spent summers in Cape Town working at my fathers Italian deli, trying to sell as many cuts of Salame & Proscuitto as possible.

Some other hobbies & interests that I have not mentioned include sports such as rugby, soccer & hiking/trekking. I love to pass time by playing card games (in particular Scopa), also boardgames such as Risk & Backgammon & reading whether fiction or non-fiction (history in particular).
