Beschreibung

At the moment, I am studying psychology. In my free time, I love working on creative projects and spending time in nature when the weather is good. I enjoy painting, sewing clothes, and making all kinds of creative things. I also really enjoy meeting new people, working with them, and having deep conversations about life and philosophy.

I am hardworking, open-minded, and curious about the world. I love exploring new cultures by participating in them, rather than just observing them from a distance as a tourist. Last year I went to Ecolonie and Taizé, so I'm not completely new to this concept. Right now, I am still figuring out what is truly important to me in life, which is why I am going on this journey this summer. I want to discover whether I feel more connected to living close to nature or building a more “normal” life alongside my future degree.

This summer, I will be traveling around Southern Europe and I’m excited to connect with communities or other hosts, meet inspiring people, and see where this journey takes me. Feel free to reach out if you know of any places or would like to host me :)

I can learn you Dutch. I can fluently understand English and speak it at an intermediate level, because I do not speak it on a daily basis. I like to improve my English by simply speaking it, because I have enough knowledge, but not enough experience.

I speak Dutch and English, and I am willing to teach you a bit of Dutch if you already speak English.

I am hardworking and creative. I like to help the people around me, for example by repairing their clothes. I can also think outside the box and come up with many solutions. I have been to Taizé and Ecolonie, where I did volunteer work.

There, I worked with compost and waste, in the kitchen, and I also helped deal with a pest that was eating all the potatoes in the fields.
