Hello, I'm Hans from the Netherlands. I'm someone adventurous and ambitious with good work ethics. I have always shared an interest in traveling, meeting new people and exploring new places and cultures. I always like to challenge myself to adaptations while living and working in other countries. I also enjoy learning and practising languages.

Okay, now something about my life: I´ve worked for many volunteering organisations from ngo's to a dive centre in 13 different countries. I spent one and a half year travelling and volunteering through South America. That's how I learned Spanish. I lived in Canada's French speaking part of Quebec where I immersed myself in the French language for nearly 10 months which made me fluent in four languages (the others are English, Dutch and Spanish). I'm also a nature lover and enjoy being out on the water whether it's swimming, kayaking or canoeing.

In 2019 I moved back to the Netherlands with my Mexican wife. In the next years we bought a piece of land in Mexico and built a small house that we finished in 2024. We have been spending the winters there ever since. I currently work as a bus driver on the Island of Texel.

I´m Alina from Mexico. I currently work in a small supermarket on the island of Texel. I also do cleaning work. In my free time I make dulls with Amigurumi technique which I sell in The Netherlands and Mexico and I also draw. I´m super excited to know new people, cultures and food.

We are planning to go to Crete this autumn. We would love to meet people and make a cultural exchange. We are both interested in the culture, history and gastronomy of Crete. We also love olive oil so maybe we can help with the olive harvest and learn more about its traditional oil production.
