Hello! We are Chloe and Josh, an adventurous couple who lived in Scotland, but I was born in England, and Josh in Luxembourg. We love everything to do with the outdoors, nature, and experiencing new countries and cultures. We're both very easygoing, positive people with a desire to live an intentional life full of purpose, value, and to have and meet as many amazing experiences and people as we can.

We are about to embark on a career-break to travel South America for 6 months. Josh is an Officer in the British Army Royal Engineers, and I am a Project Manager delivering international ecosystem-restoration conservation projects for a major environmental charity. So between us, we have a lot of adaptable skills! We are both curious about living a different life other than the stereotypical 9-5, and want to explore this question while travelling. We are so excited to explore the myriad cultures, foods and landscapes of South America, and to practise and improve our Spanish along the way!

Our number one hobby is being active in the outdoors, be it hiking, cycling, camping, swimming, paddling... although we also enjoy just sitting for hours staring at an incredible sunset! When we're not getting sweaty and muddy, we also love evenings spent reading, playing the guitar and chatting.

We both love trying new things and learn quickly!

Josh is conversational in Spanish and fluent in French, and I am a beginner in Spanish. We both love learning languages and want to use our 6 months in South America to improve our Spanish and truly connect with locals. We would love to help others improve their English if you are interested, as a cultural exchange.

Was noch ...

We are really excited to do some Workaways as a way to slow down, meet wonderful local people and experience what a country and culture is really like away from the tourist trail. We are both easygoing, quick learners and hard workers, so I hope we could give a lot back in return!
