Hello! :)
My name is Chiara and I'm 26 years old. I was born and raised in Italy surrounded by my big family and friends. I've always been a girl scout and supported the local projects by volunteering in different associations.
In Italy I got my degree and worked as a social worker with kids in school and at home projects for two years.
In 2023 I decided to fly on the other side of the world to discover a different life style and that's how I ended up in Australia which has been my home for the past two years. There I have been travelling, pet sitting and working in different cities (mainly in hospitality roles). I love animals and love travelling so pet sitting sounded like the perfect combination and I got to live in lots of different areas of Australia.
My last month in Australia I worked as a volunteer in a wildlife shelter where we were taking care of lots of kangaroos. It has been such an amazing experience!
After that I have been travelling solo around Indonesia and I fell in love with this country. Indonesians are the most welcoming and generous people in the world. Now I'm back to Italy and I am thinking about my next adventure. I am really looking forward to what will come next! :)

I'm a very social and extrovert person and I can guarantee you'll see a smile on my face 24/7!

I have a good memory and I love learning new languages. My first language is italian but I'm also fluent in english since I've been living in Australia two years and in Belgium 7 months before that. I studied spanish in school and since it's very similar to italian I can understand but I'm still shy with the speaking :) I have friends from different countries and I love learning their languages because I feel it makes people very happy when you show them you're trying and you're interested in their culture. At the moment I am focused on improving my bahasa (indonesian) :D

Was könntest du arbeiten?

My main areas of expertise are working with children and animals.
I used to work as a babysitter during my university years and later I worked as a social worker in schools.
For the past two years, I have been pet sitting in Australia, caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, alpacas, sheep, and chickens. Plus I worked for over a month at a wildlife shelter in Australia where I was taking care of kangaroos.
In addition, I have four years of experience in the hospitality industry, where I worked as a waitress, bartender, delivery driver, and kitchen hand.
I’m also a scout, so camping has been part of my life since childhood, and outdoor activities are my bread and butter.
Overall I’m a hard worker and a fast learner with an open mind and a strong willingness to improve my skills. So any new experience is a joy for me!

I'm a big reader of fantasy books and I'm very passionate about tv series and movies (who isn't?).
I love coloring mandalas and knitting. Every now and then I enjoy drawing henna designs on my hands or feet.
Even though I'm not really good at it I love painting.
I think pets are the best company so if I have a dog to play fetch with or a cat to pet I could stay there for hours.
I think kids are the purest of all so I love playing with my friends' babies and I'm the kind of person who always interacts with kids in public (even if just through a smile).
I think a smile can get you a long way.
