Hi! I'm Thomas, a 39-year-old social worker from the Netherlands. For the past six months, I've been on a personal mission, cycling all the way to Central Asia—a real dream come true.
After a lot of time on the road, I'm now looking to slow down a bit. My next big adventure will take me through Argentina and Chile, where I'm hoping to cycle the famous Carretera Austral. But more than just covering distance, I want to invest in connections. I'm hoping to find a family or community to be a part of for a while, to share stories, and to help out with a project.
I'm an outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking and trail running, but I also have a creative side. I'm into photography and cooking (I'm a vegetarian). I'm also very eager to learn new skills, especially baking breads and pastries. If you can teach me to surf , chess or draw, I'd be a very keen student. I've been learning Spanish a bit and look forward to practicing it while I'm there.
I'm excited to discover new cultures, help with interesting projects, and meet new people along the way.
