Charlotte-
Hi, my name is Charlotte and after completing my level 3 diploma in Travel and Tourism I decided to fly across the world on a one way ticket and see where it takes me.

I was working in the US for the summer and am currently travelling with my partner (Sam) through Mexico, Belize and Guatemala.

I am very sociable and can strike up a conversation with almost anyone. I enjoy scuba diving, free diving (anything to do with the ocean really) and I have recently started to learn how to surf. I love adventure but living in hostels and having only a backpack of belongings has made me appreciate the little things in life such as a hot shower, a good book and great company.

Since I left a year ago, I have been lucky to have visited 10 new countries, driven a motorcycle across Vietnam, got tattooed in a tribe by the worlds oldest tattoo artist (106 years old), scuba dived with sharks in the Philippines, hitch-hiked boats in Cambodia and extensively travelled across other countries in South-East Asia. I would love to hear some stories and share with you some of mine :)

Sam-
Hi, I'm Sam and after completing my Bachelors degree in Product Design I decided I wanted to try and work abroad and backpack around South America. Covid had other plans so I was delayed for awhile but was able to start my adventure in the summer of 2022.

I worked in the US at a summer camp which is where I met Charlotte before I headed off to backpack around the US, Peru and Colombia. This year we both returned for a second summer at camp before heading off to Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. When winter comes we're planning on moving to Canada to work a Ski season.

I love making new friends and spending my time doing anything adventurous. My passions include; Skiing, Hiking, Mountain Biking, and Making things with my hands.

I've been to 20 countries and I can't wait to add to that list, meet new people and experience new cultures :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Charlotte-
I have five years of hospitality experience including; bar work, wait service, housekeeping, hotel reception and event work all the way from small birthdays to lavish weddings. This experience was acquired over multiple jobs but mainly from working at a hotel and country club where I worked a range of positions.

Sam-
I have experience in;
Event work, touring round the country working different festivals and F1 Races.
Retail
Hospitality, wait and bar staff at a restaurant.
Logistics, warehouse management, stock ordering and movement.
Forklift Operator
CAD Technician, designing and drafting metal products for manufacture.


Working on a summer camp, supervising activities and Lifeguarding-
We have both spent the past 2 summers working all hours on a summer camp in America where we have acquired a vast experience, working with children of all ages, running a wide variety of both indoor and outdoor activities. These activities ranges from arts and crafts, archery and many other different sports. This includes running and supervising a host of waterfront activities for which we had to train to receive my Lifeguard qualification for.

We are outgoing and adventurous people who are always up for a challenge. We enjoy meeting new people and learning about other cultures.

We are both native English speakers and would be open to helping others practice their English with us.

Sam can cook (Charlotte cannot) and would love to cook meals for you as a thank you for letting us stay.

We have both travelled across the world and would love to share our stories and knowledge with you.
