Beschreibung

I'd love to work with nature or on boats, but I have some experience with restaurant service and cleaning. I am curious about farm work, fruit picking, fishing... There's so many different things I might be keen for! Generally, I'm quite open to a variety of jobs, especially if they allow me to be in touch with the local environment and community. :)

In New Zealand I have helped hosts with weeding, cleaning windows, moving and piling firewood, pest and weed control, shearing a sheep (with scissors), pickling cucumbers, cooking, baking, painting a boat, and more!

About me:
My hobbies include baking, archery, reading, learning languages, and I am trying to learn to knit. I studied (language) education at university and am interested in the sociolinguistic situation of Māori in NZ.

I can teach some Dutch or English, I studied English language and culture and have had partners whom I tried to teach Dutch. More so, I am trying to learn Welsh, Scottish Gaelic, Norwegian but while I am here most of all Maori of course! I find language acquisition and teaching fascinating!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have experience in hospitality (fast food service and hotel and campsite cleaning) most of all. I am keen to learn however and curious about other kinds of manual work, especially in nature!

For other workaway hosts I have done a bunch of weeding, raking, cleaning (ceilings, windows, dusting), trapping, shearing sheep with scissors, painting a boat, pickling cucumbers, cooking, baking, and some other odd jobs.
