We are currently in France with our family, planting vegetables and picking fruits in our garden. We are looking for a nice place to spend our summer meaningfully with kind people.

Beschreibung

Hi everyone! We're an international couple from France and Slovakia and we finished our studies last year. Caroline is passionate about agriculture, sustainable food systems and new ways of living. Juraj graduated from political theory and enjoys exploring different cultures and backgrounds while working manually, close to nature.

We love meeting new people, talking about everything and nothing and adapting to your way of living to discover new things!

We've already travelled this year to Portugal, Italy, Greece, Poland, Slovakia and France. We would like to spend the summer 2022 in a community of nice people, working outside in the garden and resourcing ourselves spiritually. We'd love to hear from you, looking forward to meaningful exchanges :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We both have experience in agriculture:
- strawberry picking
- grape harvesting (vendanges)
- design and planting of an organic vegetable garden
- basic notions of forest gardening and permaculture
- basic notions and keen interest in caring for farm animals...
We enjoy teamwork and are not afraid of working long hours if necessary to finish urgent work.

We are comfortable in any social contexts and have also some experiences in hospitaly work such as waitering and welcoming guests.

To be fair, we love learning new skills and feel that given proper instructions, we could learn to do most types of work.

Lastly, we're keen in discovering new cultures and ways of life and we adapt fast. Visiting unknown places and experiencing local life is on the top of our wish list !

Caroline speaks French, English, Polish, Slovak and is learning Italian.
Juraj speak Slovak, French, English and some German.

Was noch ...

Some of our hobbies are: singing, listening to music, playing cards or board games, any type of team sports. In general we enjoy spending time with other people as we strive for cultural exchanges.

We like hiking and discovering new places with locals and would be really glad to meet your friends or family and spend time just feeling at ease in your social sphere.

We especially love dancing be it folk, ballroom, swing, rock or tango. Anything really, learning a new dance is always enjoyable and dancing with others a great way of spending time without the need to speak the same language!

  Caroline is pesco-vegetarian, can eat fish and seafood. Juraj is mostly vegetarian as well. We are happy to learn more about vegan lifestyle.
