Beschreibung

Well hello, im a traveling beauty therapist aspiring to be a part of something bigger than myself by joining Workaway. I grew up in a golf course in the Pacific Northwest of Oregon, and I have always been a helping hand for projects outdoors, hospitality, yoga, and renovated multiple homes with my father for the past 5 years.

Since growing up I have studied yoga in Costa Rica, taught elderly chair yoga in retirement homes, maintained community gardens, volunteered in Thailand cleaning up beaches, growing my own food, some doula work, I have worked on a golf course in maintenance crews all my life and love to golf. In 2021 I got fully to licensed to preform hair and skincare services in the US but feel i can do that anywhere so im taking the opportunity to not be in the US. I have the opportunity to travel right now in life so I would like to explore while also being of service to others in need of some help to have a nice more local experience.

I feel like my greatest accomplishment in my 31 years of age is finding a way to do anything I've set my mind to. I'm not afraid of learning or being corrected and in that coachable spirit I've gained a ton about of different skill sets. What other reason to live unless you're undeniably curious about the things drawing you closer to your authentic self?

Through joining this site I hope to find recommendations of beautiful places to travel, connect with local peoples of all race and ethnic backgrounds, and contribute to the places I go to in order to connect to my source of service. I can't think of a better way to expand my heart and knowledge of life overseas.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

My experience as a business owner taught me a ton about being responsible for creating goals, finishing projects, ugly stage, and the journey of finding out how to work things out in a timely fashion. Work is fun and who you do it with can be all the merrier!

I have worked at small building repairs, renovating houses with my father, and maintaining a clean and organized work spaces at home. I have worked with landscaping and hospitality when I worked on a golf course, mowing grass, tilling the earth, leaf blowing. I like to paint and restore spaces, and bring life back to old things. I also enjoy planting new things in the earth and watering them change with the seasons.

I teach vinyasa/hatha yoga and meditation. I love to explore the spaces that the body can unwind and open up to. I like to get spiritual and feel connected to life source energy. All inclusiveness and some challenge is fun to play between postures with variations of the asana practice.

I also love videography and my instagram got me enough clients to become a full time esthetician! Story telling and vlogging is fun and I like to feel the magic of life as it presents itself to me, and recording things makes life so romantic and fun! I hope to get to share a few things in my travels and tag some new friends along the way, but understand when it's time to work it's all hands off my phone. I'm hoping to unplug and reconnect to life on my volunteer abroad.

Was noch ...

I love to snowboard!!! I want to learn to surf. I have taught some aerial yoga and want more partners to practice acro yoga with! I love skincare and doing some formal hairstyles and braiding. I love hiking and can ride a dirtbike pretty well. I really like to play cards and would like to learn to play dominoes!
