Hello,
My name is Camille, I'm 24 years old, and I'm from France. I was a German teacher at an elementary school, but I quit my job to live my dream and travel around Australia. So I’ll be traveling in Australia for 6 months, from July 2026 to January 2027. My plans are to travel along the east coast from Cairns to Byron Bay, then visit Uluru, and finally explore the west coast from Broome to Esperance.
Since I don’t have much time and would like to visit a lot of cities, I’m trying to stay only one week or less in each place so I can see as much of Australia as possible during my trip. I don’t have a car, so you’d need to live near public transportation, have a bike or a car to lend me, or be willing to give me a ride into town sometimes.
Since I'm in Australia, I've already done a lot of Workaway but I found most of them on another platform (HelpX). I also did some before my trip in Australia in French Polynesia, Germany, and Canada. I really enjoyed the woofing experiences because they allowed me to immerse myself in the culture and get to know the country better. I’m an adventurous person. I love discovering new things, having unique adventures, trying activities I don’t get to do back home, and learning lots of new things. I love traveling and have already visited many countries, especially in Europe. I always have this urge to set off on an adventure, and my dream would be to travel around the world—or at least to visit as many different countries as possible.
When it comes to woofing opportunities, I’m open to anything. As I mentioned earlier, I love trying new things. I have experience with children since I’m an elementary school teacher, and with animals thanks to my three cats and my volunteer work with seals. During my previous woofing experiences, I've done housekeeping, gardening, painting, and cooking, I've taken care of children, and I've also worked on a boat. I'm always happy to try new thing and to help you in the tasks you need. I am a responsible person who learns quickly and is capable of taking the initiative.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Je suis professeur des écoles et j'ai donc de l'expérience dans l'enseignement et avec les enfants. J'enseigne en allemand donc je maitrise très bien cette langue ainsi que ma langue maternelle, le français. Je parle aussi anglais. Ce n'est pas parfait mais je comprend et on me comprend, enfin je l'espère.
J'ai un peu d'expériences avec les animaux avec mes 3 chats et un volontariat de surveillance des phoques.
Je n'ai pas forcément beaucoup d'expériences dans d'autres domaines mais je suis toujours prête à apprendre et motiver. Je me donne à 100% pour réussir.
