Beschreibung
We're a retired couple... we have about 1000 Christmas trees in varying sizes. We need help with them, like weeding, planting, trimming and cutting the grass. We also grow pussy willows which require trimming in spring. In addition, we are looking for general help around our 2 acres - gardening, painting, maybe repairing something, . We've hosted many travellers and workawayers and are laid-back and friendly world travellers ourselves. We prefer to host for maximum a week at a time. One or two welcome at a time. No smokers please.

We live 20 minutes drive from Niagara Falls - an amazing wonder of the world. We're keen travellers and are happy to share our experiences with other travellers. We're welcoming to all volunteers - young, old, gay, straight. families.
Arbeit
We have a small 2 acre farm where we grow Christmas trees and pussy willows and have a few flower and vegetable gardens. We are chemical-free so we have lots and lots of weeds and need help keeping them under control. If the weather is dry, we may have to water the trees and the gardens. We also have a few building and maintenance projects underway. I'm not a great housekeeper so help in the house is also appreciated.

Unterkunft
We have a separate furnished building for workawayers to sleep in but we'll share the kitchen and meals. We have bicycles for volunteers to use and can drive volunteers around to visit the area. We have an outdoor swimming pool and trampoline you can use in the summer months.

In the summer, we have an outdoor swimming pool. We have bicycles for volunteers to use and are happy to drive volunteers around to visit Niagara Falls. The area we live in is known for its wine production -- there are over 50 wineries within 15 minutes drive of us! We are less than 1 km from Lake Ontario.

We have a large finished loft in our barn for your use ..with air conditioning and heating. Wi-fi is generally OK but is sometimes spotty (gets better when we reset the router).
